Fly Along With the Winds of Unity: A Blessing

It's hard to see, but down the boardwalk is a hawk who came to say hello. Turns out, he was a true friend.

Go with the wind this Unity Tuesday, my friend,
My sister, my brother,
Be the wind, for it is great to be wind.
The wind does not choose the places it travels,
But instead goes every place,
Good places and bad places,
Places we like and places we would rather not be–
Yet still it remains the wind, just as free and pure as ever.

The option of the wind is available today.
Set aside even the just and necessary calls for revolution,
For today is a day of peace.
We may not choose the place where we are,
But still we may remain what we are, free and pure as ever.

Greet one another in simple kindness today,
And may the kindness spread.

Salaam!
Salaam!
