Well, you’ve made it this far, anyway. Let’s stop for a second. The day is at its brightest. Let that be a reason to stop and pause.

All day long, the sun as been up there and out there, blazing and burning and lighting and warming. And all day, you’ve been sitting there breathing. Chances are, this is the first time today you’ve thought of either of these things. Try and think of things more important than the sun blazing up there and you continuing to breathe. It’s a short list.
So stop. Stop what you’re doing. Breathe. Not as a background activity but as something you are doing on purpose. Breathe. Be quiet. Pay attention to what breathing is like, and think for a minute or two about the sun up there. Think for a minute or two about our dear Earth slowly tilting us toward our dear and blazing sun and giving us our spring.
What is more important for doing life, the work on the computer in front of you, or the seasons? Or the spring? Because that’s going on today, too. As sure as you and I breathe.
Do this for as long as you want. When you’re done, be sure and smile at some people. Meet them with joy. Why? It’s Unity Tuesday.
